Lawsuit loans are nothing like conventional loans. In fact, they are not technically loans. Lawsuit loans are really non-recourse advances. By “non-recourse” we mean that you only have to repay your “loan” if and when you win your lawsuit. Also, there are no monthly payments.
Lawsuit Loans versus Conventional Loans
Other than the fact that both involve money, lawsuits loans are totally different products from conventional bank loans or lines of credit.

Lawsuit Loan Funding Process
- Apply online. There is no cost or obligation on your part.
- An underwriter reviews your application and requests supporting documentation from your attorney.
- The underwriter discusses the case with your attorney and makes a funding decision.
- The underwriter sends a Claim Investment Agreement to your attorney to review on your behalf.
- You sign the Claim Investment Agreement, and your attorney acknowledges the lien we have against your pending claim.
- We immediately issue a check and overnight it to you.
- When your case is resolved, your attorney pays off your lawsuit loan plus the accumulated risk premium on the advance from the proceeds of the settlement when he also pays off any other lien holders.
- Should you lose, you keep the advance and owe us nothing!
